My name is Jamie and I’ve been a professional guitar teacher and musician for nearly 15 years.

In that time I’ve helped hundreds of students find their feet on the guitar, improve past the first sticking-points of chord changes and F chords, and even helped some go on to become professional musicians themselves and play to thousands of people. Wherever you are in your journey, and whatever your destination, I reckon I might be able to help.

Since 2009 I’ve been a gigging musician, and have found myself in a huge amount of playing situations that have shaped me as a player, but also given me the experience to teach more effectively using my ‘real world’ knowledge. From pubs and clubs right through to main stages at festivals; quant village fetes to the largest military base in Europe; open mic nights to gigs under my own name to sell-out crowds - I have always relished performing and whether this is something you intend to do or not, I like to think if offers me great insight into what really works with playing, and what doesn’t.
